Melbourne band A Gazillion Angry Mexicans are back in 2021 with an amazing new album, titled Blood Rainbow, set to drop later this year. The band have just given us a first taste of what is to come with their new single Plume and they recently sat down with Dave Griffiths to tell HEAVY what fans can expect from the soon to be released album.
Sydney alternative outfit Dip have given Australia the first taste of their soon to be released EP when they dropped their new single Fire Escape. Excited about the release band member Dil Harre recently sat down to have a chat with Dave Griffiths about the track.
Vocalist Dil Harre explains, “the chorus ‘sometimes I wish the world would explode so we could all die together’ was a one line poem I wrote that had this lovely irony: the happiest ending we could wish for is to all go together so we don’t have to miss each other.

2020 was supposed to be a year of celebration for Swedish prog outfit WOLVER. It supposed to be the year the band dropped their debut album – Act 1: It Starts With A Bow – and then they would hit the European circuit to promote it. That’s not what happened though, instead they found themselves in lockdown.
So Wolver recently sat down with HEAVY Magazine and chatted about the album in general but also how they hope that 2021 can be the year where they finally manage to head out onto the circuit and bring their theatrical show to the stage.
