It seems like just yesterday that little known “doom” project Spirit Adrift claimed the runner-up spot to Decibel‘s Album of the Year. Actually, it wasn’t even three years ago that Curse of Conception landed at No. 2 on our 2017 Top 40 Albums of the Year list. In that decidedly short window since, Nate Garrett and Marcus Bryant have recorded two more full lengths, an awesome Decibel Flexi Series banger, performed at both the Philly and Los Angeles editions of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest, and now, have scored their first Decibel cover. Along with a Hall of Fame induction on Die Kreuzen‘s crucial post-hardcore classic, October File, and sick-as-fuck exclusive flexi recording from death metal derelicts Hyperdontia, the November issue is available now in limited quantities so, pick up one today and be enlightened in eternity… or for at least a few weeks!
Note that it’s, in fact, the next issue of Decibel (No. 194) that will feature two flexi discs to make up for the missing flexi in issue No. 192. The good news is that they both printed and already at our printer so not to worry!
